These trips have low mileage for the time allotted and are almost entirely coastal and day sailing in nature. There may be an overnight sail or a day when you head further offshore, but most of the time you will be close to the coast and having plenty of time to explore ashore. If you are completely new to sailing or nervous about your capabilities, these would be an ideal entry point.

Highlights: Get to know the boat, safety brief, sail around Plymouth Sound and anchor in Cawsand

What we’ll we be doing: Inshore Sailing
Distance Sailed: 20nm (approx. 4hrs sailing)
Highlights: Explore the beautiful south coast waters from Plymouth to Fowey and hopefully see some of the stunning marine life along the way. Explore the beautiful town of Fowey.

Distance Sailed: 23nm (approx. 4hrs sailing)
Highlights: Improve your sailing skills as we sail back from Fowey to Plymouth

Voyage Completion

We aim to finish by 5pm on the 1st July 2018. This could change depending on conditions, tides and weather. All participants are required to assist cleaning Helen Mary R, stowing her sails, and packing everything away prior to departing the vessel.
