Recently we've been very lucky to spot a great deal of sea life; from Sunfishes, to Dolphins and Phosphorescents each time our trainees have been amazed at what's in our own local waters.  So it was great news when we recieved accreditation as a recommended boat operator by the Sea Watch Foundation.

On the 1st of June a group of Plymouth University Students, along with two students from Stoke Damerel and Sir John Hunt schools in Plymouth set sail on the voyage of a lifetime. By the end of the voyage on the 19th June they had sailed just under 1000 miles and visited over 28 lighthouses, and all in aid of charity!

As this is my first blog post I thought it might be a good idea to take you through a day in the life of one of our trainees. It's always good to let you get a feel for what they might go through and to set the scene we will be following them through a typical sail training day for us at Mórvargh.
