Marine Environment Voyage
This workshop has been booked for Devonport High School for Girls In partnership with the National Marine Aquarium our Marine Environment Voyages and the Sound Sense Programme offer schools and youth groups the chance to investigate the exciting and dynamic environment of Plymouth Sound and surrounding waters. Workshops are delivered both at the National Marine Aquarium and by sailing on our Tall Ship, Helen Mary R. Normally delivered over two days, the Marine Environment Workshop is designed to be hands-on, experiential learning allowing students to study in a whole different kind of school – a 57ft floating classroom and the National Marine Aquarium's state of the art Aqua Lab. At the end of the workshop teachers and group leaders will be given detailed evaluation materials showing what improvement the students have made and what they have learnt.
